1. To maintain and enhance a high standard of training and education in the physical therapy profession to serve the nation and the community; 2. To increase the publicˇ¦s recognition of physical therapy and to promote the professional status; 3. To provide assistance and counsel in the national qualification examinations; 4. To establish formal and unified translation and usage of physical therapy terms in Chinese to promote the understanding and communication between members, with other medical allied professionals and the public. 5. To promote interactions with international physical therapy organizations; 6. To create opportunities of continuing education for physical therapy professionals; 7. To institute a journal or other such publications and to compile such professional literatures as may be necessary in the interest of physical therapy profession and the Association; 8. To promote physical therapy through conferences, meetings and workshops and by other such means as the PTAROC determines; 9. To safeguard the professional interests and rights of the members and to facilitate the interaction between members; 10. All such acts as to increase the responsiveness to the needs of current and future members of the Association. |
